On Saturday, December 17th, 2016, Grade 2 & 4 students delivered clothes and blankets to many disadvantage families in need. Winter clothes, such as gloves, socks, hoodies, shoes, scarfs, toys and blankets were distributed to the families who live in unfinished building next to Divan Hotel in Erbil. Students in all SABIS® Network schools around the world are encouraged to make a difference in all lives of those less fortunate than themselves. Through many outreach programs, students learn to give back to their communities and to help others. It was wonderful to see the thankfulness on the families’ faces when they received the goods with a big smile and our students were very proud to be part of the SLO® outreach program.
